Past Postdoctoral Fellow
Jon was currently a postdoctoral fellow with a joint appointment at the Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC) and the University of Washington. His primary research interests relate to climate impacts on marine food webs, ocean acidification, stable isotope ecology, and ecosystem approaches to fisheries management. Jon received his MS and PhD from the School of Aquatic and Fishery Science (SAFS) at the University of Washington under the advisement of Dr. Tim Essington. He is currently working with Kirstin Holsman, Anne Hollowed, and Kerim Aydin at the AFSC to develop size spectrum models of the Eastern Bering Sea fish community and ecological model ensembles for forecasting food web responses under climate change. He continues to collaborate with the Punt Lab in his appointed role at NMFS.
