Four members of the Punt Lab attended the 2026 Alaska Marine Science Symposium (AMSS) in Anchorage, Alaska: André E. Punt (Principal Investigator), Madison Shipley (Graduate Student), Raquel Ruiz Diaz (Postdoctoral Fellow), and Alberto Rovellini (Research Scientist).

Alaska’s premier marine research conference, AMSS has brought together scientists, educators, resource managers, students, and members of the public for more than 30 years to share and discuss the latest marine research in Alaska. The four-day symposium, held annually each January, draws over 700 participants from across the marine science community.
